22nd Century has partnered with various community-based organizations with the support of its leadership and staff - a testament to its passion of making a positive impact in the community. This program is an important part of our culture, where we leverage the professional and technical skills of volunteers from around the country to help local communities. We encourage local offices or work groups to donate time and/or resources to their community.
Since 1997, 22nd Century teams have supported several community initiatives to improve quality of life and education.
22nd team contributed in the giving tree drive to donate holiday gifts and items needed to help the homeless families moving into a new home. 3 to 4 people moving into homes either from the street or our shelters every week and we like to be able to give them basic comforts of home as they move in.
22nd Century was a sliver donor to help the cause
22nd Team volunteered and donated to families experiencing homelessness, as well as families in Homelessness Prevention Program, who are at risk of eviction by provideing the families with gifts when, oftentimes, they wouldn’t be able to get them.
Team 22nd participated to raise money for Special Olympics helping raise over $2,000,000 for athletes with intellectual disabilities in Virginia alone.
22nd Century participated in the Generosity DC 5k Run to support FACETS.
