Essential Functions
- Maintaining site landscaping.
- Maintaining lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and irrigation.
- Fertilizing lawn, trees, flowers and shrubs, and spreading mulch.
- Trimming trees, hedges, shrubs, and preventing and eliminating weeds.
- Operating and maintaining hand tools, such as saws and shovels efficiently.
- Operating and maintaining trucks and power tools.
- Utilizing insecticides, fertilizers, and chemical sprays to treat diseases.
- Keeping grounds free from trash, litter, and debris, and emptying trash receptacles.
- Conducting basic irrigation audits and performing basic irrigation repairs.
- Removing snow by using a shovel or snow blower.
- Other duties as assigned.
Summary
- The Boiler Operator I performs entry-level work assisting in the operation, monitoring, and basic maintenance of stationary boilers and related mechanical equipment. This role involves learning to read gauges, record operational data, maintain clean work areas, and respond to emergencies.
Essential Functions
- 1. Performs beginning level duties in the operation of stationary boilers and auxiliary mechanical equipment.
- Learns proper maintenance, adjustment and repair of boilers, pumps, turbines, compressors, steam lines, water lines, valves, water softeners, and all related equipment.
- Learn proper reading of gauges and recording of readings.
- Maintains cleanliness of facility work areas and other areas as required.
- Responds to emergencies
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
