Role Description
- The Community Resource Coordinator serves as a liaison with local community organizations to provide support to licensed personal care homes serving low-income populations and provides supervision, training and support to regional Community Resource Coordinators.
Minimum Qualification
- One (1) year of professional experience in developing, implementing or evaluating human services, sociology, public health, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor's degree in Human Services or Education Field
OR
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that includes at least one year of professional experience in developing, implementing or evaluating human services, education, sociology, public health, health care services, or health care insurance programs. - Resource must have knowledge of available resources to low-income residents
- Intermediate Computer skills to include, but not limited, to Microsoft Office Suite.
- Technical computer software skills are required.
- Possess the ability to work as part of a workgroup or team is required for the unit's assigned projects.
- General research and on-line computer research skills are required.
- Resources also needs to understand and be familiar with the operation of human service governmental operations at the federal, state, county and local levels.
- Project troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required.
- Resource must have communications skills and also possess complex, technical analysis and interpretive skills.
- Resource will be required to implement the necessary controls and procedures to ensure that responsibilities are performed to meet objectives.
Essential Requirement
- This position will be in the Department of Human Service's OLTL Bureau of Human Services Licensing for the Southeast Region, located in Norristown, PA.
- This position is a teleworking position. You must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.
- Travel: Travel within the Area 5 to attend meetings, liaison with resources and conduct on-site visits as needed.
- Work Schedule: The standard hours of work are 37.5 hours a week.
