Job Title: Systems Administrator 1

Job Descriptions:
Essential Functions
  • Maintenance, and configuration of virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere/ESXi).
  • Maintenance, and configuration of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Server 2012/2016/2019/2022, Windows 10/11).
  • Maintenance and Operation of windows domain services including but not limited to: Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, DHCP.
  • Use of public/private PKI.
  • Understanding of basic networking and firewall operations.
  • Maintenance and Operation of an enterprise backup system, Veeam, Unitrends, etc.
  • Previous experience in administration of Google Workspace is a plus.
  • Operation and configuration of SAN and server technologies (Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, Dell Power Store, Nimble, etc.).
  • Previous experience in a support role, supporting and deploying infrastructure on AWS.
  • Administration and operation of Two-Factor and Multi-Factor services such as Okta, DUO, Microsoft Authentication, etc.
  • Understanding and use of SIEM systems (Splunk) is a plus.
  • Other duties as required.
Qulifications
  • 3+ Years of relevant IT infrastructure engineering experience.
  • 2+ years direct experience with VMWare, Windows Active Directory, Windows Server required, 4+ years desired.
  • 2+ years installing, operating, and configuring Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
  • 2+ years installing, operating, and configuring Linux server operating systems.
  • 2+ years installing, operating, and configuring Microsoft Windows Group Policies.
  • Excellent ability to analyze information, problems, situations, practices and follow, update or create proc. when troubleshooting or completing tasks.
  • Excellent capability with both verbal and writing skills and be able to work with diverse groups such as: executives, managers, and subject matter experts, as well as other teams with little technical knowledge, using English words and phrases to effectively and clearly. organize and communicate thoughts and ideas.
  • Work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction, while at the same time being able to take direction from senior engineers to learn new technologies and processes.
  • Familiarity with change management concepts and procedures.
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in information technology, Business, Operations, or relevant equivalent experience.
